Company wants the BOGO deal but only pay for the cheaper product Here’s a little background info, I work in the Gas industry for parts. I’ve been with the company for a few years and run the warehouse. We only have 3 employees at most of our branches and it has been that way for a long time. We have a CSR manager which manages the branch but still answers the phone to take orders. The other inside person is consider a CSR, he handles the phones and customers that come inside. The CSR got an opportunity and took a new position in another department. So he still works at our branch but isn’t involved with the warehouse and customer side anymore. The manager asked me if I would like to move inside, the pay would be a lot better and they would hire a warehouse guy to replace me.…
I work at a fast food restaurant, and I am essentially the dining room closer. Whatever hours are on my schedule I work, and almost every night I close the lobby, which takes me about 1 1/2 hours. If she asks me to come in early, I'll come in early if I have no prior plans. But one thing she keeps asking me to do is to close the kitchen, and I keep telling her no. It's not in my job description and i already close half of the building, and I've already told her no several times. There was one point where I finally gave in and scrubbed the kitchen floors and left around 12:30. I wish I still had the screenshots, this happened about 2 years ago. I quit immediately after I was handed the “suspension” THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT US.
I pretty much do my job and more for the 20% of the time I am working. My problem is that if I do more work, I’ll be expected to reach those numbers in the future and I just don’t want to do that. Others that are WFH and do the same thing as I do as far as workload, are a bit less productive. Should I feel guilty about this?

People who work for Amazon on any position packet deliver driver or whatever position should really vote NO from 1 through 1k. It should be against Jeff Bezos. 2 through 23 should be a BIG YES for you guys that work at Amazon if you really read the Amazon Proxy Vote. That is where you guys can maybe or finally get compensated for your long hours at Amazon I don’t know if people actually spend there time reading these.

Drinking off the clock
Just need some thoughts. I work at a financial institution and we are going out to dinner our manager is a tyrant and they are stating we are not to drink alcohol at this dinner. Being that we will be off the clock can I still order a drink on my own tab or can they dictate what we drink?
RTO and “active assailant” training
My employer has been tightening the screws on their in-office mandate; word recently went around that they had ir would begin tracking access badge swipes. Now for the first time in the multiple years I've been here, they're mandating “active assailant” training – including how one warning sign is someone voicing angry objection to company policies, and how any warning signs should be reported to HR.
