Just a reminder….
Rather you are waking up on your way to clock in or clocking out..if we died today our jobposition would be posted tomorrow.Fuck that two week notice, quit that shit .
So, I am not sure if this post goes here, but I have a question. So my family is going on vacation (I already went on vacation and used all my pto up thst I had accrued), and I want to go with them. I live in PA and Wfh full time. My job is located states away in a different time zone. I have done my job in my boyfriend's house a city away, at my cousins a city away, in NJ down the shore, but never that far away. They have never said anything, and as long as my connection is good, I can complete my job anywhere. However, should I ask them if it's okay? Or is it better to just go, and if they end up noticing/saying something, I can just apologize and claim ignorance? We have a camera on meeting every 2 weeks but they…

Since again we’re on the topic of Elon musk, I’m wondering what does Elon musk EVEN do? He is literally on Twitter posting every 5 minutes, wtf he is EVEN doing other than firing employees?
France – Right to ‘Laziness’
I've lost count of how many comment threads and submissions I've seen that are basically “HR is there to protect the company, not you”, or “It is illegal for companies to prevent employees from disclosing or discussing their salaries”, or “If your raise is smaller than the rate of inflation, you've had your pay cut”… I could make a list pretty dang easily, I think. If people could straight up see things like “Joining a union is beneficial for most, if not all, workers”, and “It's in a company's financial interest to pay their workers as little as possible”, right in the header? Straight up facts and logic that just aren't immediately obvious? I think it would help express the culture of this subreddit and raise awareness. And of course, mousing over the ticker should let the redditor pause the tape and scroll back.
Without going into too much detail, I'm currently struggling with my mental health due to a flare up I'd equate to PTSD (past intimate partner violence). I'm supposed to be training my replacement for my last two days starting tomorrow, but I genuinely don't think I can handle it. I'm barely able to get any work done by myself let alone training someone else. I already asked my boss if I could leave early earlier this week due to 'personal reasons' and they were understanding, but I know they will lose their shit if I just 'abandon' them on my last two days when they have a new hire starting (understandably so). They don't have enough staff to cover me (entirely their fault, toxic workplace/managment) I know my mental health is far more important than work, I'm just worried they will give me a bad reference in the future 🙁
