Not sure if appropriate to post in this group but here goes anyway. I have a coworker “T”. She has terrible attendance. Especially around any holiday Everytime there is a holiday, “T” calls off for the next few days. I normally wouldn't care, but I have to do her job when she's out (in addition to my job). Its become so predictable that I've stopped scheduling myself clients in order to cover hers. We have a new manager who is a stickler for attendance. I assume the manager had a chat .with her today about her attendance because “T” put up a nasty social media post about the manager, threatening to quit, etc. She blocked everyone in the office from seeing it but someone I know saw it and sent me screen shots. I have a superstition that everything given from a company to work at home is being monitored and tracked. Can someone confirm if secondary displays can send info of what is being viewed if said display is being used for personal use with a personal computer? Second display is always connected to the ethernet cable but ran through a usb-c to connect with the main device. Can companies really be tracking everything?

I work in a factory in Australia, I put ingredients into vats and pump different bases into them to make ice cream, in the different rooms there are people who work production on the line, a lot of whom I’m friends with. A couple weeks ago I was talking to one of my friends about the gym and their room manager yells at me from across the room to gtfo, it’s loud inside so yelled back what did you say to make sure I heard it right, he came over and said either do some work or get out with a few added swear words and anger. whilst this was happening a few of the alarms on the machine were going off so I told him why don’t you worry about the machine more and less about me and I’ll leave. he gave me a dirty look and then started…

The company I left treated me like absolute dog crap. I do get a sweet discount on car rentals though through the account I created linked to a company email address years ago. Every time I use it, the car rental place asks if I work for the dog crap company and I say yes. I’ve been using it guilt-free, but I am now wondering if I got into accident, could it come back that I no longer actually work for the company? Could I somehow get in some kind of trouble with the car rental place or insurance?

I have a friend who works for a shady company that has not paid her in a few months. When she asks for her money, the owners yells at her and say she is ungrateful and give excuses for not paying her. From what I’m told the company owes money to a lot of people and I wouldn’t be surprised if they go under. FYI, this company is on CA. Asking for advice, what should my friend do? Can she get government assistance? She is struggling and is really nervous and doesn’t know what to do.
