An honest review from a B.com guest
“The staff attitude is like they (The staff) often have problems with guests and therefore they behave mistrustfully and with suspicion towards guests” As a 17 year old service industry (Hotels, restaurants, bar) veteran this review touched a sensitive snare in my almost jaded perception of the hospitality industry. How does this relate to your own experience in the current state of hospitality? And if you are a guest, are you able to perceive the above as well? Curious about your reactions.
Must be nice to have a salary like this.
Advice for Finding New Jobs?
Currently looking to change job/career and figured this is probably the most realistic subreddit to ask. It feels impossible to find jobs that are hiring that aren't retail/fast food, I'm just looking for advice from some older more experienced people who know what to look for in a decent job/mainly where you can even find them. 20 years old with a couple years experience in specialty (electronics) retail. Indeed really sucks and i think ive maybe ever had 2 responses from employers on it, and I'm not exactly sure where else to start.
How To Call DOT On My Current Job?
The place I'm working at runs a box truck with air brakes and automatic transmission for deliveries. They overload it big time and claim none of the drivers need a cdl to drive it. I don't believe them and want to report them to DOT but don't know how to. I've tried to Google a number to call in my state but can't seem to find it. Any help from ya'll would be great. I plan on leaving the place soon and want to make them stop their unsafe practice before someone dies.
McDonalds is Ghetto (rant)
I work at McDonald’s and a lady threw a lit cigarette in my face in the drive thru today. She was also smoking the cigarette with her toddler in the car with no car seat. Working at McDonald’s is hell. Lol.
