So I work for an unnamed restaurant that has many remote carts and locations that all the employees are randomly assigned to. This one weekend I was assigned to work a music festival. This meant that I was sleeping in a tent and working a grill in 100+ degree weather. I’m tough like Superman so I could deal (plus, free concerts) HOWEVER, my company was super short staffed because everyone was getting heatstroke and…unsober. Also, all of the event staff hired just for the festival only used it to get a free ticket and never showed up to work.
