I worked for a company called WIS International they were an inventory company so we would go into stores before they open and count all the stuff on the shelves. The job itself wasn't too bad but the people there were insufferable and so was managment. You didn't get a certain number of hours a week they just put you on a schedule and you would have to show up. We also did stores far away so we would do stores is Salt Lake city which is like 2 and a half hours drive and would also do overnight jobs in like Boise and stuff where they would put us in hotel rooms. Because we were far away and would have to get to stores early, often times we would meet up to get in the company van at like 2 am or earlier. Multiple times I would be on…
My state's minimum wage was $12.75/hr. It's now $13.80. I'm making $14. Is it worth bringing up to my boss that I would like my pay to reflect this difference and ask for what I guess would technically be a raise?
