They provide charity work for rich people, drive down the wages of others, and give away their self respect/time in order to keep a shitty job. These people are beyond pathetic and they absolutely make things worse for everyone else. Also fuck you Sanki for willingly working over Christmas vacation, you tool.
Are they allowed to ask this?
I’ve been an employee for this company for appx 1.5 years. I arrive to work on time with the exception of the past 2 months. I first received a written warning for being late. By the 3rd tardy my supervisor explained that if I’m more than 15 min late in the next 3 weeks they will withhold a days worth of pay from my paycheck. Is this legal ? In Texas btw.
The VP of sales is aware of some positions I'm interested in with other departments. He scheduled a time to talk tomorrow and I need to be prepared rather than saying “I've been doing the same shitty job for three years and there has been no opportunity for advancement within this department, I'm stressed and burnt out, I just need CHANGE.” I sell final expensive insurance. I talk to people on social security all day about death. It's literally depressing and the constant monthly sales goals are always changing and making it more difficult to get a good paycheck. I'd rather take a pay cut to 60-70k salary and maybe use my actual brain more. Any advice to put it nicely?
I know it really bad right now, particularly in the US. Are there any companies you think are a cut above the rest to work for? (Please include location like the state or country if it’s somewhere other than US) I thought this would be fun and also help those who come here in a miserable job escape faster. I wish I could offer one of my own but I’ve only ever had one job and tbh if I can I’ll use this list to escape. My boss can shove his $16 an hour + the occasional pizza party up where the sun don’t shine.
