Road Closures
So last month my area got hit with a Decent Blizzard, we ended up with about a foot of snow in 24 hours. My dad called in due to the Highway Patrol closing the roads within 200 miles of us. So I just found out his job wrote him up for not coming in any way because he drives a 4X4 vehicle so “he should have been able to get to work”. Hell the snow plows didn't come through my area till the day after he had called in. I know he works for a hospital, but when even ambulances are unable to get through the snow; why should someone who lives 32 miles away be required to drive it by some pencil pusher who lives 2 blocks from work. Yes I was serious that around 50-60% of the roads in my state were closed by the highway patrol and…

She spoke circles around me until I got her to admit that she did, in fact, accuse me of a rumour. I also mentioned how she blamed me because another employee…

We work in a place where appearance is super important; so looking decent at work and making sure everything looks good is important. A month ago I came into work and a leak had started directly over our cash wrap (so registers/light fixtures/light-up signs, the only counter space we have). And when I say leak, I mean more of a downpour of ceiling water. Not like the shining scene with the elevator doors or anything; but definitely enough to get soaked with disgusting brown ceiling water if you had to stand there to check people out. Like need to wash your clothes and completely shower. Nobody came to fix it and the managerial solution was to have us try to make…
