Here are some thoughts about the general scheme of things, or more precisely how corporate ethics evolved, and how generation Z is the offspring of this. Not rebellious, no. But faithful believer of the new corporate governance, besides corporations. So, the old : I talk about the grandeur of industrial times: the 50’s to the 70’s, and certainly a bit of the 80’s too. By then, one average worker job could support a family of four or five. How do I know ? There is a ton of show from around that time that told me. What’s the common point with, let’s say : Homer Simpsons (The Simpsons), Al Bundy (Married with children) and some other soap deconstructions of father figure in the American TV history ? There are non-executive workers who can support a family of 4 or 5, two cars, a multiple floors house, on just one paycheck…

So, I see a lot of postings calling for a general strike. I think most of us support this. Unfortunately I see very little organizing. What I’d like this thread to be is a place where we can share links of groups or people already organizing. Perhaps this way more people can join a local group or put their local group in touch with an other. If possible I’d love to keep the comments focused, but I know reddit gunna Reddit.

Hi everyone! I need some advice, but I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this. Apologies in advance if not! Back in December, my boss said I would be getting a raise starting January. Our paychecks are 2 weeks behind, and, come January, my paychecks are the same. I wanted to give it some time since I was still getting paid for December during part of January. There is a incredibly simple way to fix this, exponential modifier to yearly property tax, exponent will be the number of properties you own, so your first house purchase is taxed normally and every 2nd, 3rd and other house you purchase keeps getting more expensive every time. I had my yearly performance review and I'm supposed to sign and add my comments. I was docked on performance and didn't get the full yearly raise because of an incident with a now former coworker, the Golden Child. She was absolutely the favorite of the managers, the whole team knew it. I had tried avoiding her, but ended up being assigned to a large project together. I had wanted to be on the project, Golden Child did not. As soon as we started, I kept having to talk to our manager about issues working with Golden Child. I was being blocked and removed from all communications, not included in meetings, having parts reassigned so I ended up doing parts already completed. My boss is straight out of a comic book. This guy is the most Trump loving, gun toting, q-anon believing Alex Jones fanboy alive today. You should see the back window of his F-150. It’s got an: assault weapon sticker, all kinds of 2a stickers, anti Biden stickers, the American flag with the blue line through it…. He wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn’t so mentally ill. I seriously think this guy needs to see a psychiatrist. He clearly has schizophrenia or psychosis or something. He is so high strung. He is the modern day equivalent of a slave owner. If this was the 1800s, he would own slaves.I think a lot of these crazy right wingers are just mentally Ill. Many of Trumps most loyal supporters exhibit the same characteristics of people victimized by cults.

I’m a independent contractor and I started doing work on a Tuesday. I sent in my invoice as usual on a Friday. They told me since it wasn’t a full week I wouldn’t get paid until the next week. There has been times where I would start doing work on Tuesdays and still receive payment on a Monday as usual. They want me to do extra work for another day?
