Is unpaid eLearning illegal in Canada?

Our company always has eLearning for us to do every year, and although some of it is new things about store standards, a lot of the time it is a yearly repeat on respect in the workplace, guidelines, etc. It comes out to around a few hours, but they tell us to do it at home on our own, unpaid. Is this illegal? Does it fall under unpaid training?

So, a typical person who started working for them when they were 25, could retire at 55 and have a private pension of 80% of their best five years working for them. That was the story of Martha (also a fictional name). Her best five years had an average of $100K US. Based on her habits, the company's actuarial scientists estimated she would live…

Job wants me to do my training at home. Is that legal?

Edit: Occasionally my boss with send videos on the group on how to perform certain tasks. I don't watch them since I am not on the clock. When I am in the next day they expect me to know the content of the video. Is that legal?

Oppositional Defiant Boss – Advice?

New boss at a company I really like. Guy is brilliant, probably on spectrum of some sort. He’s 100% oppositionally defiant. Has no opinion on anything until someone else does. Have come to find out he will straight up lie to try and make a point. How do you work for someone that will take the opposite stance on something just because, AND lie to make a point?
