When we get ready for work and make ourselves presentable for our employers, that time is not ours. We are doing it on behalf of our employers, so shouldn't we get paid for that? I would not be waking up at 5am and spending an hour getting ready by adorning the required attire if they said I didn't have to, but they do say we have to. That time is not ours, it is done for the employer. It is time that would otherwise be spent doing something else yet they get it from us for free. Not to mention the commute, for those of us that still have to do that. We deserve to be paid for every second that is dedicated to our employer.
Gotta love nonsensical discrimination
In Washington state, fwiw. I've been working at this place for over a year, and suddenly management has a huge problem with me. Nothing to do with my work performance, as said to my face, but rather with being on my phone. Which almost every single employee at this WAREHOUSE JOB is allowed to be. Again, I was told TO MY FACE that my work performance was not of issue, only how often OTHER PEOPLE (my manager) deemed I was on my phone. Full disclosure, I do not hide when I'm on my phone, because I shouldn't have to. It is a warehouse job, I'm by myself 98% of the time, but my manager has decided for herself that I'm on my phone too often (skipping adds, I know, so time consuming) because every time she allegedly sees me I'm 'on my phone'. So I'm obviously on my way out,…
As the question implies, I work 5 days a week, Mon-Fri, from 10 AM to 20 PM, 9 hours + an hour for lunch where I have to log off from the system and then log back un when I get back. I spend more than 50 hours a week out of Home and the weekend feels like one single day rather than 2, so I started to pondré. If I forget to log back in, because I see My coworker is dealing with people, they dock some money from My paycheck since I wasn't on The clock, so why shouldn't I do the same? I get Home really tired and sometimes I have to Cook me some lunch for the next day, barely leaving me like 3 hours to shower, eat and play with My Friends, so Should I start doing that or not?

The conflicts are generational, in terms of skills and understanding, and more.
The conditions and pay typically don’t let people live decent lives. It’s difficult to be self supporting and employees are commonly asked to do the jobs of two people. Often, there are not many plans or realistic discussions in place about how organizations are run.
Work forcing apps onto phone
Looking for some help. My company changed their background tech company and when they did, they force installed 15+ apps on my personal phone. Work does not pay for my phone in any capacity. If I delete any of the apps, my phone attempts to force download 7+ times a day for any apps deleted. I and many others had to delete personal things to fit all these apps. We have made complaints and they don’t care. I have the option to delete ALL of the apps, but then I can’t work from home anymore because I need 1 app. Is there any way in an iPhone to stop the constant pop ups of trying to download apps or manage my personal apps?
So quick story here. I’m a firefighter and only work 2 24 hour tours a week. Sounds awesome and it is unless you get bored easily. Well my district chief like other firefighters work part time jobs especially during the winter. He got a job at a ritzy grocery store working the deli counter solely to pass time in the winter working like 16 hours a week. Now when I say my chief is a guy who gives zero fucks I truly mean it. He would always tells stories about how he would give attitude to people who fucked with him. Always saying he was blowing the minds of the pre-release prisoners working who were in awe of his zero fucks attitude. So onto the story. He was scheduled to work a day he was at the station and obviously wasn’t going to make it. Told manager he wasn’t gonna…
