This makes it so blatant that America has brainwashed people into sucking the dick of large corporations that don’t want you to have lives outside of them, and just want to work you to death. People who say this shit piss me off, “lazy socialists” my ass.
So i was in every aspect of dealership life, started in sales, went to parts, managment, service writer and service. For 15 years of my life i worked for multiple places. All the same in corprate culture and drama. Fuck the customer, never help. 4 years ago I walked out started my own business, met a guy who built his own shop, homesteader. We got auction and rebuildable cars to sell and service for people with not enough money to get something above $4000. Went very well for 4 years! It was how i wanted to be, work my time, my hours, my soul was happy. Well a few weeks ago, because of some bad decisions he made, hes shuttering the shop. I have no garage at home, its winter in VT so i cant work outside. I was the mechanic and he did bodywork. So here we are, lots…
Just want to vent about it
I am in Property Management, and I am very good at my job. In fact, I am very proud of my resume; I have held several high level positions–from armed government contractor, to pharmaceutical manufacturer, to starting and running my own Non-Profit–and worked within the field of Property Management for three years. Am looking for new work. Went to an interview. Everything went great, I was going to have more authority, less to directly worry about, at a nicer property, with more money, everything seemed and ready to go. The last thing that had to happen was I had to meet the owner, cause it was a family business. Well, the owner comes in, sits down, looks over my resume. He asks me all these questions, then says: “Well, it seems to me that you don't have a lot of experience.” I just blinked and sat silent, dumb-founded. What the…
Elon Musk has now achieved a first of his own: becoming the only person in history to erase $200 billion from their net worth. Other than everything, what's wrong with this tidbit. A completely ridiculous tax structure that allows this kind of wealth. This is the guy who is trying to save Twitter, a company he bought at a highly inflated price by cutting custodial staff and forcing employees to bring their own toilet paper. How much would 198 billion dollars would have been better spent for; bettering education, ending hunger, finding a cure for [insert disease name], ending homeless. Just to be a few. Perhaps a better question is what change in his personal life would there be if he only had 1 billion dollars as compared his current level of wealth? Does anyone have the right to be that wealthy while so many others go wanting? What do…

So 3 months ago I lost my job start sofa surfing and my brother got me a job where he works as he’s a night manager. It started of good I would only work with him 2 times a week due to my days I work. And well it’s gone down hill since. He always put my name up for extra days so instead of 4 day weeks I would work 6 but I’ve now refused that and refuse to do extra days. Cut to today. New Year’s Eve I had plans and now I’m being told I have to work as once I again he put my name down and I’ve argued saying I’m not doing it now this argument got a little heated and the store manager got involved told me either I do it or I’m gone. Now I know you guys may tell me to leave…
