Maybe because the place was dead end and I was barely paid ? What else can I say. Like am I supposed to work the same job for 10 years? Even though I have a job length on some positions that are long they still ask it. I just had a place phone interview they didn't even care what i did at these jobs just the dates and title.
Take this job and…
Sometimes quitting feels so good.
I worked as a graphic designer for a huge online print company that was ran so poorly that I could write a few novels from stories. But quitting was my favorite moment. I got pulled aside by my manager because my numbers weren’t great recently according to her, as far as how many jobs I completely, which I pointed out how people go for the under $200 jobs cause it’s the least stressful if something is done wrong. I made a habit of not touching anything under $1k, on that day I had been working on a $150k job and even though the client didn’t request it I sent proofs and confirmed they were happy with the mock ups over the phone, they were ecstatic with service, especially since their logo as is wouldn’t have looked great on the thick thread material it was going on, so I tweaked it…
I received an e-mail last night stating I was being changed from a full time employee to a part time employee, with the basis being me calling out sick too many times over the past month. I had COVID and also had the accrued sick time to cover my being off. Is this legal? Do I have any recourse or options here? I am in Arizona. Thanks in advance.
(California) She was a pain, tried to fire me, and I filed an hr complaint against her for doing something questionably illegal like 8 months ago, so it's no longer valid, nor did I have documentation. So, I sent an email also asking her why she is so mean. She proceeded to lie about me via email responding to me. (After I filed an hr complaint) HR was able to determine she lied and promptly fired her. This was in early August. She was fired later in the fall. Question should I file a complaint with the labor board still to protect myself for being a massive shit stirrer?
I’m (33f) a bartender and the other day I walk in and this new girl/lady was working instead of normally my coworker K. Anyways the bar was a mess. Tables dirty. Glasses dirty. Nothing stocked. It was trashed. Napkins and limes behind the bar in the ground. So the next morning. I told my boss via text. And he hasn’t texted me back yet… I think he may be on vacation. But I’m kinda tweaking like idk. I felt like he should know bc her setting me up like that.. put me behind the whole night… bc it ended up being super busy. Thoughts?
Hey, still a win in my book
Merry Christmas, you’re fired
