Good to know, what the priorities are
Forgot Parents Gave An Inheritance.
This happens to me every single morning. I have a hard time going to sleep every night because I’m anxious about work the next day, then when the alarm goes off after a few hours of sleep, I continue to lay in bed feeling almost paralyzed like I can hardly move because I’m so anxious about work. Even if I need to pee really bad, I still can’t bring myself to swing my legs over the bed and stand up. Before anyone says I need a new job, I don’t even dislike my job, I work in my chosen field, but work causes such intense anxiety almost all the time and I have no idea how to stop it. I really feel like this will happen to me no matter what my job is.
Workers compensation
Back in 2020 i fainted at my part time job , after asking to be pardoned due to not feeling well . I was a minor at the time . I left on an ambulance and have suffered from headaches since . Is it too late to go after compensation? Also All I have is dates , but I believe I can get the hospital record & the job called the ambulance also so could that prove anything? Would they still have that recording?
Among other things, I found out a coworker threatened violence against me in a chat to their two accomplices. I have not seen the actual threat. Said coworker was allowed to resign immediately but the accomplices are allowed to finish out their two weeks. The coworker will be driven over by one of the accomplices to get their stuff, apparently unsupervised after hours. No one from HR or upper management has contacted me. My supervisor told me the supervisor doesn’t want to jeopardize their future hire ability. Is it understandable that I am concerned about this situation? I just feel their productivity is being placed above my health and safety. For context this is a professional office in the US.
so i just started at this new job yesterday, we do manufacturing for a clothing company, i am paired up with my friend & we both started at the same time first day yesterday and my first impressions of the supervisor werent that great but i didnt think anything of it.. though every person me and my friend talked too at work complained about her.. my friend actually got abit frustrated with her when she tried to blame her for writing something wrong on the page when she was the one that told her to write it.. like even if it was wrong it was our first day.. anyways today she asked me a question and i got it wrong.. it went along the lines of “so what do you do next?” i said “etcetc” – which was wrong.. & she literally went “ugh, no!” and hit me with the…
I had my first shift today at a new restaurant (6 FOH staff including me) after I had quit my last position at another place because they started scheduling me in for once a week due to the off season and because my coworker who was there longer had priority. I was ecstatic but I realized I was just going to be oblivious to what is normal and not normal because I am new and everyone there has been there for a while and know the ins and outs. My coworkers were constantly laughing behind my back whenever they thought I did something wrong. Closing duties are beyond typical for every job, let alone a resturant job. My manager prints out a list, a list he had curated and printed during my shift of the DAILY closing duties we had to do. All is fine. I am cleaning and sanitizing…

Some context first; I am an expat at an Asian country where: – Rent for a two-bedroom apartment is around $400/month – Dining out costs anywhere from $4-$5 to $20-$25 (no tipping required) – A week's worth of groceries for 1 person costs $35-$45 – A can of beer costs $1.20 – A 20 minute taxi ride costs $4 – My monthly salary is $1,650 minus taxes. – I give my mom $450 per month for allowance and to help with her rent (as is per custom in many Asian cultures) – My rent is $400 / month. – I spend around $350 on dining out, groceries per month. – I drive a company car and they pay for my gas. (Gas is ~$4 per gallon) Thoughts?
