QUIT CALLING THIS A TEAM!!!
This isn’t a fucking game. I’m here to make sure there is a roof over my head. (My thoughts on the way home tonight) Edit: I should add. I walked out today, it was 3:30 on the dot. I have been filing away my grievances mentally for while now. I had a bit of an attitude this morning. I arrived at 10 (which is normal), bosses are in a meeting and I have nothing to do. So I wait 1 hr and 50 mins till they finally come in to the shop with tasks (wtf give me something to do) Im contract so I could be elsewhere those two hours doing something I maybe care about. Anyway at some point one of the bosses asked “is everything alright dude?” I just said NO and walked out.

Meanwhile in Teacher land…
I got fucking snitches tattle telling that my Planbook(teacher software) isn't up to date. Like seriously aren't our jobs hard enough, why you worried about what someone else's lesson plans look like?
It's literally not even about the low pay for me. You couldn't pay me $50/hr to keep this shit job. Every day before work I fantasize about quitting. I'm getting out of here as soon as I have any not food service job lined up. I hate the headset- the sound quality is terrible, especially when people are far af away from the speaker- and what makes that an extra pain in the ass is the fact that we have to HURRY HURRY HURRY with taking orders. I hate the fact that after about 12, customers do NOT stop coming not even for a second. There is not a single second where I'm not taking a goddamn order for 6 hours straight. I hate the fact that no one appreciates the fact that I'm taking on the duty that obviously everyone else here hates. I used to not really like…
All of these corporations laying off massive amounts of workers are not doing it because they are losing money. I’ve seen this over and over. They fire thousands, pay severance or whatever they offer, then re-hire the same jobs at a lower rate. They kick out those who have been there forever and are making a high wage in favor of those who will work for less. You can’t sue if you accept the severance agreement. Keep fighting for higher wages if you are starting a new job!
