I had all I could take today, I’ve given my immediate supervisors that are above her every chance I could to correct her behavior, but she won’t stop using the r word in front of me, won’t stop trying to provoke me any time she gets. Today was the straw on the camels back. One of the co workers asked me if I liked this person and I straight up told her no because of the way that I’ve been spoken to in the past by her (Criticizing your employer is a protected activity in my country, and you cannot be retaliated against for doing this.) After this co worker snitched on me that shift manager threatened to retaliate against. I finally filed an EEOC complaint due to the threat and I’m fixing to look into other legal options.
I bet you are Burger King
How it should be done.
I’m 20 years old and had this job job for a little over two months. My job before it was a warehouse job and I got a lot of experience in that for two years. I had an interview for another job today but I’m just don’t think I can stick it out at my current job any longer. I do have money to fallback on so that really isn’t the problem. The only problem is worrying about the future of employment.
So long story short I cleared the interview for this company and initially I told them that my notice period is negotiable(negotiable based on I had no backlogs and there were other employees too in the company who had negotiated there way through notice period and made it short) and I can join them in 45 days(my notice period is 3 months fml). But even after talking to manager and HR of my current company I couldn’t reduce my notice period and they wanted me to serve 3 months. So I talked to the HR of the company I am supposed to join in March and they agreed to the 3 month notice period but the thing is that I talked to her today and she said that you wont get any joining bonus since you extended the joining date. Is this valid/legal or are the trying to rip me…
This can't be legal right? State texas employer walmart. I told her to find out who the other persons superior is and report it to them.
Had the surgery, work somewhere else now. Did not find cover 🙂
