I am genuinely kind of beside myself. I work for a small company, we only have 6 people including myself, and I am the administrative assistant. At first when I started this job I thought it was going to be great. I know it's a bit out of place but I am curious. People want to end working and make it so that everyone can have basic needs met for free, so my question is how does society function then. I mean if government started providing free food, rent, clothing to everyone most hard working people will quit their job mostly all farmers, construction workers, military and any profession you could name. So if all quit who is going to create those survival needs. Like if farmers retire who will grow food, if it engineers retire the internet will size to exist in 2 weeks and literally every other thing.
