I really can’t stand all of those news stories or reports on the ultra wealthy/billionaires of things like “Mark Zuckerberg drives a VW golf” or “the CEO of IKEA flies coach”. All that tells me is that these people are severely overpaid and enjoy hoarding their money

I have a colleague who I don't feel safe asking questions to. He's my senior at my job. I'm 3 months in and I want to quit because I feel I won't thrive if I'm mostly made to feel dumb or my asking questions will be taken against me. I dread going to work. It has exacerbated my existing anxiety and have been having more panic attacks recently. I don't have a backup job yet (I'm actively looking though) but I feel I can't stay one more day. I know unemployment is a worse situation to be in but it feels like my mind would detonate out of anxiety these days. I really really want to quit NOW.

Stock Awards: very generous company stock awards are possible every quarter Benefits: I pay under $30 per pay period for amazing benefits PTO and Sick: fair PTO and 80 hours of sick leave a year, as well as a floating holiday Food: they randomly buy the company food, probably twice a month More Food: 1 paid team outing per month to any restaurant that we don't need to clock out for 401k matching: a match of up to 4% a year Culture: generally one of the nicest places I've worked, most people are happy and there's no drama Now all that being said let's get to the part that really concerns me.
