And out of 7 days we are forced to do this 5 times and then we get 2 days of free time – where we have to do all the stuff we didnt manage to do in the previous 5. Im sick of it – and frankly i dont know how people do it. Or how they manage to do anything besides working/relaxing and keeping themselves fed and their house/apartment somehwat clean.

Received offer from old place of employment for 20% more of what I am currently making. How can I use this as leverage for a raise at my current place? I would like to stay at the place I am at, but the money is too good pass up. My old boss reached out to me and I was not looking for a job at all. The job offer is to return to my exact position I left, but will be making 50% more from what my salary use to be. I left because the pay was too low.

I am working on a project with an organisation. We are at the end phase of the project and now they are saying that they don't need our services. Major delays in the project came from their side. In our daily conversations. all l heard was positive but now they are doing this. It was big contract I was able to provide them with all of their requirements and I did many things that were not part of the contract. Their requests were crazy but since I had such a good rapo with them i fulfilled all of them, now I feel taken for a fool and taken for granted. Good thing is i have a supportive workplace where they are not blaming me. I just want someone to tell me that I am not less. Couldnt eat yesterday, just wasn't feeling hungry lost all my appetite and my confidence…

Starting off my experience: Working hard and overachieving I get thanked all the time. Never helped me get ahead. I'm antisocial because of years of these “work mind games”. Social clicks seem to be the best way to get ahead.

Hi all, I need some advice, it’s the first time I write on this sub which I love for the creativity of the replies I usually see. I need some advice regarding my situation. About five months ago I asked my company to be relocated under a different contract in a different country (working mainly remote) for personal reasons. Both my manager and his boss (division manager) gave the green light for my request by leaving as only obstacle the HR approval which is supposed to arrive by end of February. The fact is that we want our kids to start school in the new country by September and for this scope best is to have all the variables settled as soon as possible since time is running out. Now the hard part is that since we really want to move I started to apply to another company (locally there)…
