So my fiance worked at Panera Bread for about two weeks before they fired her for a “lack of urgency” when she was tasked with a thorough deep clean of the store and still learning the ropes. She's been applying for unemployment and having a hell of a time due to our unemployment office sucking. Now Panera is trying to claim she never worked there. They also haven't paid her for time worked. We're going to call the department of labor today but this is extremely frustrating. Is there anything else we can/should do about this?
