I know most are from USA, but as a Canadian, although we technically don't have a labour code on what 'part time' is. The accepted guide is under 30 hours is part time.
What's stupid though is when companies ask you to come 5 days a week anyways. There's not much to do with your remaining time. Like some ask for a 10 – 5 schedule (1 hour unpaid break) So it's like, i won't have a life anyways
I'm quite happy with my current job, but I am on a look out for other job opportunities for experience, and it sucks how they claim 'part time' but then when you show up to interview it's actually 'full time'.
I'm not sure if this is necessarily 'anti work' and i know most would love full time work, but I think if you want full time you should just tell on the posting.
