Partner has had an absolutely horrible time working for a summer company: treating her horrible, holding no one else accountable for things, skipping out on meetings, etc etc. We found out she was pregnant, and they instead gave her a HARDER outdoors position; didn’t have a doctors note yet so they said “well you could be faking it” – even with an initial prenatal document and the actual photos from the ultrasound.
Now here we are and she may have miscarried; we won’t know until at least Monday.
Can’t even do anything but vent because of we’re distraught and angry. Screw big companies, and the practices they take to screw over employees.
