People with less experience at my work keep getting promoted. Should I quit?

I have been working at a retail job for 2 years since I was 14. I have loved my job so far and I have made great friends, but several times I have experienced low motivation for one recurring reason, and I think I may quit. I work on cash registers, and we have many normal registers, with express checkouts where supervisors work. Around one year into working, my supervisors invited me to do some work on supervisor tills. Later on, my manager started rostering me on supervisor tills. However, this only lasted for a short time, and I kept finding myself just working back in normal registers. This has happened a lot in the past, where I got to do more supervisor training in irregular waves.

I thought this was normal, until I started seeing some people who started around 6 months after I did getting promoted to supervisor. I thought this was just due to my young age. Recently, a 14 year old girl who started one month ago has already started on supervisor tills. This has started happening more with other people, while I remain working on normal tills.

I've also noticed that supervisors tend to only let their best friends on supervisor training, and my manager tends to promote more guys (she is a boy mom). All the guys get promoted within one year, and the girls around three years.

I have asked my manager repeatedly if I can start on supervisor training, she has said yes but has never acted on it. I feel like if I wait a bit longer, I might be considered as that has happened with other girls but I'm losing hope. This is the best retail business in my local area with good pay, great customers and I would not prefer starting anew.

Should I quit? I would love any more advice reddit.
Also sorry for the big ramble.
