People with more experience than me: is walking out a bad idea?

I, like many, have a job. Here lately this job has gotten worse and worse. Today the final straw occurred, and I am quite simply done. I would absolutely love nothing more than to say “fuck y'all” and be done with the place, however I have an issue. The company I currently work for has a parent company. This parent company has another company that has extended an offer that I am considering taking. Said parent company ALSO owns another company that I am speaking with about coming aboard. Do you wise folks reckon that walking out will hinder those opportunities? I'd like to be clear I am well aware that I owe them absolutely nothing, nor do they deserve it. I am weighing the option purely for my own benefit.
