I am 20, I do not study nor work and have never worked for money and never will. I believe that far too many are too weak willed to say no to the employers and the society. I also believe that it is better to die than to get paid for work, because leaning the devil a finger once usually leads to losing the arm.
I keep a small bag at all times. At one point I was homeless for a while; but having known that I may have to be like that for a while a prepared, it was no problem.
There seems to be lots of stigma and fear around losing income, access to quality groceries and other comforts, and having to move. This is precisely what advertisers want because it limits the available strategies and make you less likely to do anything. Swallow that you may have to in the worst case live at least for a while frugally (and then at worst case to die homeless); you will notice yourself free to resist. Even families thorough history have been and many are even now poor and homeless with their children living good long lives.
I don't think it's honorable to hand around here, be anxious for your job – knowing that there is something wrong. Surgery is risky & painful, but sometimes taking risks & tolerating pain is the only way to fix things. I would certaintly (were my government to stop paying for my accomodation, ha ha) be homeless again, even when it's dangerous life usually finds a solution: get cold, find a buss stop or knock doors and tell about your situation honestly; get hungry, ask places if they are going to throw away anything and try to find places where they give free food; et cetera.
Does not matter that majority will not take the pains, you should.
