I worked 31 days as a cart pusher for a store and they did not pay me a single dollar the whole time I spent there. So I am naturally concerned of getting buttfucked again by a big corporation.
I work a new job now, and after thinking about my pay checks I had a weird feeling I am missing some money and that my froggy bank should be fatter. I ran some math and my instincts were confirmed, I should have hundreds of dollars more than what I should. But can I get some second hand input on this before I go toe to toe with my store manager?
Between May 12 ( start date of employment ) of 2022 and June 4 of 2022 ( today but not including today's shift hours ) I have worked 56.5 hours in total according to my time cards. Paid for my training hours too.
My hourly pay is $13 an hour according to my virtual pay stubs. I get paid every week on Friday for last week's hours.
So therefore, not including taxation, I should have accumulated $734.5 in total. My total tax amount between my start date and now is $45.24 according to my pay stubs. I have collected three checks since I started working here. A $120.25, $201.5, and $94.25 note.
So, including taxes, between my start date and now I should have accumulated $689.26. But instead, I've only accumulated $370.76 including total taxation. I am missing $318.8
I just recently turned 18 and still live with my parents, I don't pay any other expenses / bills / taxes than what was included on my pay stubs. And I did not sign up for a worker's union either. So am I crazy or owed money? I get kicked out in two months so even small chunks of money is really important to me right now.
