I found a new job with a company that caters rentals. Recently I was ok with it until my much older coworkers started talking politics and conspiracy theories.

It was towards the end of the day and we're stuck in a crammed vehicle. Instead of parking and letting us out, he slowed down to talk more politics and forced us to listen to it.

I asked him to not talk about it because it was getting me angry and I just don't like talking about politics, religion and sports at work because people have strong feelings towards those subjects.

I told him that I don't get paid to listen to his opinions and view points and that he shouldn't force me to listen to his views. He insisted he was not talking politics but he was mentioning countries and government leaders.

It was obvious I was angry because being forced to listen to this and unable to get out of a moving vehicle made me hostage to his political views. I don't know what to do about this but I am not looking forward to working with this supervisor again next week.
