Positive. Finally found a job that is not stressful and pays well.

This post is being positive. Don't lose hope all who are hunting for the job. I know how hard it is and what stress level we go through that we see our hairs falling. But it will get better. Keep pushing, keep trying, you will reach there. Some things I learnt during the job hunt and what you should do: – Consider your location, what skills you have to offer and look for the job that you find interest in. – Don't just blindly apply for any job post. Read the content thoroughly, give it a thought if you would like to do what they described, and then apply. Don't apply on Linkedin. Go to the company career site and apply there. – Salary matters. This post is being positive. Don't lose hope all who are hunting for the job. I know how hard it is and what stress level we go through that we see our hairs falling. But it will get better. Keep pushing, keep trying, you will reach there.

Some things I learnt during the job hunt and what you should do:

– Consider your location, what skills you have to offer and look for the job that you find interest in.

– Don't just blindly apply for any job post. Read the content thoroughly, give it a thought if you would like to do what they described, and then apply. Don't apply on Linkedin. Go to the company career site and apply there.

– Salary matters. When to ask about it? In the first interview. Don't be shy. Company wants something from you, you want something from the company. It should be a win win situation. State your expectations AFTER researching about the company background, their revenue growth, Glassdoor reviews and work load. Don't ask for San Francisco based $120K per annum unless you are applying for a director level or senior level manager position or located in the US with high inflation levels.

– Prepare yourselves before the interview. Try their tech, sign up for the demo, give it a coding whirl (if IT), find out which stack they use and then collect the information you gathered to leverage it during the interview.

– Update LinkedIn if you need one. Start describing what you did in the positions you were in, in the past or currently are. This give a better idea to the recruiter as well if you are a right fit.

Lastly, always remember: It takes only 1 YES to change it all. Fight for that 1 YES.
