I'm working as a supervisor and I handle a small team with less than 13 team members. My manager promoted a new supervisor with no experience at all and decided to be the main one handling the team and I will just be handling half the team.
I worked hard to keep the team intact and created performance measurements from scratch, note that in the past 6 months the team performed above and beyond.
I feel so bad for myself about this. What do you think I should do?
I tried to voice out before the decision has been finalized that the team is relatively small to have 2 supervisors and it's not like the team is not performing.
My manager's reason is because the new supervisor is new and the business which I handle is new as well so she won't have a hard time adjusting.
Any thoughts? Suggestions or advises?
