So I've been working at this certain market for almost a year. September will make 1 year. I've done it all. Opening . Closing. Closing then opening the next morning. 60 hour weeks with no day off. I've never had issues getting my hours. Well over past several months management has changed and we got a new manager for our department. She actively doesn't accomplish much each day. Goes home early . Gives herself 2 days off a week and she's actively cutting the hours of people who actually work hard. Now we're stuck with employees who don't do anything and yet I'm the one loosing hours when I'm quite frankly better and more experienced than anybody else. I really don't wanna quit cuz hourly I get paid nicely and I'm coming up on my time to be eligible to get a week paid vacation So I'm tryna hold out until then due to having important stuff to take care it.
I don't get it. Management sucks, most of the workers in my department suck. And I feel like I'm one of the only people who actively does anything and takes the few extra steps to get more stuff done. I basically got replaced at work for somebody that honestly just doesn't have the capacity or quality to do what I can do. Not to mention me and 1 other coworker are the only males there to actually do the heavy lifting. Why should we keep working for people who honestly just doesn't care about their workers
