Had to file a complaint with labor and industries Dept just now (WA). My boss I posted about a week ago who was being extremely abusive in the workplace took all my tips and only sent me my hours worked. I've since quit. I have proof of what my wage is/ what I should expect to see in tips via email document from the old boss. I also have their handwritten note of my hours worked on my last check. I took a photo of the check and plan to cash it at their credit union because I don't want shit bouncing in my account if they're underwater (has happened previously to me). My question is, what else should I be doing? I haven't had a boss literally steal money from my check before, and I'm not sure what even will come of reporting to labor and Industries.
