Probably not going to make it past 90 days because I don’t eat, sleep, and, breathe my job.

I work as an HR manager for a small business. It's intense and very involved business in a niche industry. To be honest, I hate working in HR. I'm currently working on getting my real estate license so I can get out of HR. I figured I would try and keep this job through the end of the year, if possible, and knew I had to make it past 90 days. That way, I can give myself time to go with the right brokerage. I did not want to take this job. I already knew it sucked when I took it. The pay is awful. On Monday, my boss said my 90-day review would be in two weeks. He said that he liked me, but he didn't feel I was very committed to this job (I was surprised because honestly, I can't stand him. He's very particular and just expects you to immediately know what he's talking about at all times. He loses his temper, and even when the slightest thing goes wrong it's a disaster) He said he needs someone willing to “Eat, sleep, and breathe this job.”

Yeah, buddy, that ain't me. You pay me a pittance, you expect me to know what you want at all times without any kind of communication and I'm done. I'm going to make him fire me, though, so at least I can collect unemployment if I have to. I'm sending out my resume, and I'm already getting people asking me for interviews.

Would it be unprofessional of me to just not show up if I get another job offer? I worry about the word getting around town that I'm unprofessional if I do that. I'm just super done.
