Production Manager who we all loved was suddenly fired for apparently not meeting certain budget goals. No manager to replace him. I fail to see how this will increase productivity…

He had been there for over 3 years, was honestly the best manager I've ever had. He knew the place well, orchestrated things as best as possible. Now his assistant who has been here 3 weeks is completely filling his shoes… he's gonna be burned out in a month. This manager LOVED the place, he couldn't say enough good things. He was honestly a cautionary tale in himself, he sacrificed so many of his own weekends to do “renovations” like painting and re-doing floors… He literally missed anniversaries, funerals, birthdays, and for what? To be kicked out the door like that? How can you possibly be loyal to any company when you're just a cog?
