I got a time sensitive request yesterday looking to be delivered in 24-48 hours. I told my boss, ‘I’ll be working from home tomorrow so I can knock this out”. He replied, “good idea”. My boss knows what’s up.
I think it’s reflective of the whole return to office movement. They know we are more productive at home. Two extra hours I can work on this without a commute, no constant interruptions of questions or office chatter, I can grab food from 15 feet away and get right back at it. Admittedly, I struggle with the forced return to office.
