I recently completely a 6 page document as part of an interview process (4th round of interview) in improving internal processes for the department of the company I’d potentially get hired for, It’s a relatively new tech company FYI. I wondered, is anyone ever paranoid that these companies are taking the ideas you present and not hiring you? A type of “information gathering” at your expense?
I recently spoke to a friend of mine who works for a recruitment firm. She advised me some candidates are downright refusing to do this without asking for consultants fees or taking themselves out of the running for the role. Do you think more ppl are refusing this work as part of the process? Will it gain traction?
