PT job turning to a FT job?!?

I’m posting this Bc a new manager was just hired who said “you end the day at 5 right?” Today I happened to end at 5 but should’ve replied better but figured I should talk to people who hired me first. It’s a 1090 job. 500+ dials a day / 12 meetings a week 5k per month + solid bonus structure. That’s it so it isn’t too bad at all but I was sold on it being a PT job that “people do to make some extra money” and that’s why I joined. I’m not tired of sales but I need better job security after being part of tech layoffs in summer and not getting a call back until this. I’m looking at utilizing my minor and go into UX and hoped I’d do that on side but don’t have the time for it let alone workout etc Bc of extra client relation stuff that I was told I’d never have to do.

So I ask you all – how do I handle this? Obviously unique situation that I’ve never been in before.

How should I bring this up & what should I expect + what pushback should I be prepared for?

Thanks!
