Was hired to do a specific skillset, then work changed the plan.
Colleagues have ignored emails for weeks.
Boss blames me for not being more forceful for info.
To be clear, coworkers were ignoring my emails and reporting back to my boss that they did just that.
Discovered folks hired after me have been looped into the daily info feeds while I sat in no news ville.
Frustrated further by the fact they retracted their promise to let me move my job overseas to go with my wife to her family.
Now unsure what to do. They have me doing taka that are not my bread and butter. Talking coder or devops vs system or network architect work.
I just want to build things. Why is it always the “soft skills” that get in the way.
Also get promises in writing. Don't be like me half way through moving only to find there's nothing waiting for you at the other end of the process (job wise that is)
