Do I have to wear the jacket and hoodies that the company sells?
The company says that we have to wear black or blue pants, shirts that they provide, and steel toe boots.
They give us money for safety shoes, they also give us a uniform stipend meant generically for uniforms (we all buy the pants with that), and they give us company tee shirts.
They want us to ONLY wear the hoodies and jackets that they sell. No khaki Carhart jackets, no sports hoodies… We work outside, at night 98% of the time and it gets really cold.
Can the company obligate us to buy their hoodies and jackets??
