This is the second time this has happened and I'm kind of fed up.
I was working at Amazon before which wasn't much but it paid. I was looking for work while I was at Amazon because I wanted a better position which is how I ended up at this new place. Submitted my resume and cover letter per usual and got hired. Honestly there were red flags but it's a relative new non profit so I didn't expect it to operate like other companies I've worked for in the past.
Well my first and second days were fine, come the third day I show up. Work for an hour. Then the manager randomly comes in and is basically like… well actually I don't think you're a good match for the position and I'm looking for someone with my experience. Mind you ALL I did for my first 3 days was send emails and he didn't mention a problem with any of them. Anyone can write a damn email and this isn't my first job where I've had to write an email.
Either was I was just really pissed but didn't say anything and left because I quit Amazon to work there and now I'm unemployed AGAIN.
I mean I have a job lined up for August that I had been offered back in May so its fine (it's a school job which is why the start date is so far away) but it still is like… I have so many bills and now I have a whole month with no income.
