Quit my job due to them taking advantage of my kindness.

I worked at a restaurant in town. A pretty nice one to boot. Everything seemed fine until one by one, managers were being replaced. First it was the ASM, then FOH manager, then GM… Soon we found ourselves understaffed, with 3 new managers who weren’t willing to do shit. One of those things being communication. I was supposed to work between 2 job codes – host and server. When the serving schedule manager fucked me by not putting me on the schedule for a week – I asked to pickup host shifts. The next week? What happened the next week?

I was scheduled for 5 server assistant shifts. Nothing close to what I was hired for, and what I had done for the previous 3 months. Also, the lowest paying job in the place.

I no-call-no-showed yesterday – and while I’m broke as shit and eating ramen, I have a job interview tomorrow that I’m hoping goes well.
