After 5-1/2 years there, and 3 years as “supervisor” I called it quits. I no longer had a team to help me do the work and was forced to do it almost entirely by myself. The pay was pretty decent but the exhaustion and fatigue wasn't worth it. Even my boss's response was remarkably non-plussed. But I'm sure he's shitting brick as I was the only one who knew how to do it all.
