I work at a Marketing Agency as an associate account manager and I have been here about a year. When I first started, I felt the training was good. Then all of a sudden everyone quit. Those of who were left were given tons of clients, we also had tons over over due tasks. I worked my way through it. Most recently we had a manager get fired and someone else quit. It is a few days before my week long vacation. So far I have had to do corporate training, prep for meetings and take on new clients. Most recently one of my clients suggested meeting at 7pm on a Friday before vacation. My manager was like see if they can meet late Thursday instead. The same thing also happened to me a few weeks ago. It's just really frustrating because I feel like my time isn't being respected. At least I can work from home at a livable wage. Sometimes I wonder if all agencies are like this. I feel like I am not getting ample time to review the accounts or know the client before we kick things off.
