hello, this is my first time posting like this on reddit, please advise me if there is anything to correct. I'm looking for advice on my situation at my job.
I work in an entry level job for a hospital system (clerical/admin support). the past 2 years I have had a decline in my physical and mental health (half in part thanks to the stress the job gives, the other to new health issues arising) that causes performance and attendance issues. I wanted to know if it would be reasonable to request a transfer of position to a remote call center job within the system. this would allow me to not have to call out of work as much than I already do.
this would need me to transfer departments but I don't know if this is something I ask my current supervisor or hr about?
any advice would be appreciated, or if more details could be helpful il try to answer the best I can. cheers.
