I'm about to quit my job because 1. I'm moving for university, 2. My managers are all shitty people. I know that just by quitting, 2+ weeks notice or not, bridges will be burned because it's a mess here and resignation is taken as personal attack by management.
I'm going to take some time off while adjusting to university life, but, once I start applying for jobs again and I'm asked for a reference, I'm not sure what I'll do. I've been working at this place for 4 years, and I feel like any prior reference would be outdated.
What do yall do when you have burnt bridges and need a reference?
