thought i’d share how hilariously ridiculous the job search is nowadays. i applied for several positions at a hospital. i had an interview for one last week and was rejected the day after. i spoke with HR yesterday to do a phone screening and express my interest in the other positions that i was still in consideration for.
today, another HR person calls me to schedule an interview for next week. a few minutes later (like less than 20), the HR person i talked to yesterday, tells me that they’re rejecting me from all the positions i applied for because i don’t have experience in an ER setting. she keeps me on hold to look for any other positions i could qualify for and proceeds to reject me from all the other ones too while sending me the rejection emails at the same time.
well that was the boost of confidence i needed!
