Remember when Pay Day used to be awesome?

Now you get paid and spend the whole day paying bills? And at the end of the day, you don't have enough money to take yourself out to dinner? Pay Day sucks now. I believe now that your job (whatever it is) is just a way of two corporations transferring small amounts of money between each other. Basically, you are the middle man for a number of corporate funds transfers. Your employer wants to transfer $200 to Verizon, $100 to ComEd, and $250 to Target? They combine the funds into your paycheck and you launder the funds thru to these corporations. The recipients will compensate you for the effort in making the funds transfers, Verizon will give you a month of cell service, ComEd will give you a month of electricity, and Target will give you some food and household supplies. The money in your paycheck is never really yours.
