My dad is dying a horrific death from jaw cancer. I am on Family Medical Leave. I've been keeping my boss updated and she barely replies and when she does it's some generic response that indicates she is barely reading it. I texted her that he is close to the end and this woman replies “All the best!” I seriously can't believe I even felt guilty that I was going on a leave….that response makes me not want to go back.
