I work in the tech industry and typically answer all emails/ chats from my workbook and do all my dev work on my desktop.
When I’m working on my desktop, I don’t actively mess with my workbook as I’m busy developing which causes my status on Teams and other messaging apps to go to “away” status.
Even though I ALWAYS submit my work on time and typically answer my messages within 10-20 minutes, I was given a negative review for “Not being available when needed”.
I’ve never received any complaints and I go out of my way to help other team members when they are blocked. I also don’t feel like 10-15 occasional response times warrant the negative review.
Any advice?
