Reported my job to the Department of Labor.

I work at a restaurant as a chef. Every day the owners force the wait staff to “tip out” the chefs for 8% of total tips for the day. Chefs do not get this money. Owners use it to supplement chef salary. The owners misclassified chefs as salary workers so we do not get OT, but if we call out due to being sick, we get a pay dock. There are absolutely ZERO postings of worker's rights in the kitchen or common areas. No more exploiting us.
