My work have ignored and delayed most of my requests for reasonable adjustments at work following an injury. Eventually, it became clear they were just waiting me out as they get a load of funding at the end of my contract, as long as my work meets requirements (I'm a tutor). They told me they don't plan to bring me back in for another 10 months and requested in mean time I attend unpaid training courses. On top of this, they've also not paid me properly for a month, as my sick dates aren't right in the system, and tried to get me to request new fit notes that removed my GPs requests for occupational health or self certify so it looked like a new/different problem.
I reached out to my line manager to negotiate a resignation, on the basis I'd focus on getting the work done so it passed and they get their funding, if they provide a good/acceptable reference based on my work and not on my health issues. Instead my line manager went with arranging a formal meeting with me and two HR reps, giving me less than 24 hours notice to contact my union rep and agree to one of their meeting times proposed. He has also requested I still complete the project work, whilst on the sick, and not getting paid (don't get sick pay on this contract), because otherwise the projects will fail.
I'm absolutely shocked at the attitude/requests of some employers. How should I respond to this???
